About Roof Duck

Brubaker Bros. Roofing was founded in 1947 by Olin Brubaker and his brother. After Olin’s brother pursued other ventures, the company continued to grow and establish a strong reputation throughout Lancaster County for quality workmanship and dependable service.

In the early 1970s, Joe Funck joined the company and became a driving force behind its growth and long-term success. When Olin turned 80, Joe and his wife, Lori, purchased the business and expanded services beyond roofing to include siding, gutters, replacement windows, and masonry.

In October 2024, Joel Keefer purchased the business from Joe and Lori after working closely with them on several projects and learning they were considering passing the company on to the next generation. Joel is committed to continuing the legacy that has defined the company for nearly eight decades: quality craftsmanship, customer satisfaction, and strong community relationships.

Now in 2026, the company has entered a new chapter under a new name: Roof Duck. While the name has changed, the standard has not. Roof Duck continues to operate with the same commitment to excellence, professionalism, and long-term service that customers have trusted since 1947.
